The actual Castle Rock is visible from the home and a very nice hike. They owner could not be more helpful or communicative. She cares for her property and those who are fortunate enough to stay in it. Everything you could ask for was provided. It was so comfortable staying there Trains do go through the town at night so if you are sensitive to noise, Id recommend ear plugs - however, I understand developers are undertaking a project that will negate train horns at night My daughter, her husband and our new grandchild live in Castle Rock so I am hopeful that I will be able to rent this wonderful home again.
